All those who are part of ARCAT are proud to share with you that, Tenaris, and the National Agency for Technological and Scientific Promotion* awarded us with the TENARIS AWARD TO ARGENTINE TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT for our project about Blast Resistant Portable Buildings.

We would like to thank this award to the effort and committment of ARCAT with the Development of New Technology and Permanent Innovation.

Arcat’s Booths offer comfort, safety, quality and design.

Their structural design makes them resistant to strong impacts, guaranteeing the safety of occupants. Moreover, they own every necessary installation to assure the highest comfort levels.

Built with noble and long-lasting materials, these booths have a lifespan of over 15 years, even in severe conditions of use.

ARCAT introduces one of the latest developments of our R&D Department, Blast Resistant Buildings.

After the Texas refinery accident in 2005, oil companies have started demanding that the trailers placed inside refineries should resist blast caused by an eventual explosion, thus protecting the lives of people being housed there.

That´s why ARCAT developed its Blast Resistant Buildings following the international standards applicable.

Electrical Rooms are designed and customized for each particular project, this allows designs that perfectly fit the most demanding requirements of Customers and Users. These Rooms can be made up of one or more modular units.

Arcat designs and builds various models of wheeled trailers : with drawbar, gooseneck or mounted on semi-trailer. Modular units are fit for every kind of road and they have LCM (model configuration licence).

Equipment as well as functionality are defined according to each specific project, taking into account all the needs of the final user.

This kind of wheeled modular unit is typically used in hydrocarbon exploration, travelling training units, mobile medical units, among others.

At Argentina Oil & Gas 2007 Exposition, we introduced the 3×1 Expandable Modular Unit, winner project ofTenaris National Award 2006 to Technological Development.

At the same time, we introduced our R&D Department, the result of our constant growth and our eagerness to offer excellent solutions for a highly demanding market.

As usual, Arcat was present as the 2007 edition of Argentina Oil & Gas.

There, assistants were able to meet the Trailer that will change petroleum logistics, CARREARCAT.

Recently launched to the market by our Research and Development Department, CARREARCAT is transported on wheels and used on skid, it does not require cranes for in-site positioning and it has state-of-the-art interior equipment.

Arcat is a pioneer in the design and development of Telecommunication Shelters. In this case, it is about a Wheeled Shelter with incorporated Mast that can be used for emergency assistance or service overload.

This kind of unit owns MCL, Model Configuration Licence allowing patent registration.

This Shelter was exhibited at Sinprode 2007.

Booth Tucker-like, made in folded steel plate painted in red with epoxy coating. High resistance in corrosive environments. Its structural design makes it specifically safe in potential head-on collision situations.

Arcat has developed a wide variety of booths for different use, surveillance, toll, access control, filming, ticket offices, are some examples.
